Acetabular reinforcement ring appliable to the bone by screw fixation, to be used Hip Reconstruction procedures in combination with a cemented acetabular component and a femoral stem with articular head.


  • MATERIALS:

        RING:             Unalloyed Titanium - ISO5832/2 .

        SCREWS:     Titanium Aluminium Vanadium alloy Ti6Al4V - ISO5834/3.


  • STERILIZATION:

         Method:        irradiation (Beta/Gamma rays - minimum dose 25 kGy) or Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide (VH2O2).

         Validity:         5 years (Beta sterilized products) - 10 years (Gamma/VH2O2 sterilized products).

Titanium alloy Ring to be used as a reinforcement of the acetabular bony structure in order to lodge a cemented acetabular cup.



   

Cranial lip for the acetabular upper rim, also

useful for bone graft fixation in case a roof

reconstruction is needed (displasies).


Elliptical screw holes allowing screw insertion up

to 20° angle.



Microstructured bone contact surface, 4-6μm

roughness.



Holes externally protruding for improved stability.










   



Size refers to the inner cavity and the effective size

of the cemented cup to be lodged.

Outer diameter is ± 4mm larger .
