® The JUMP System CEMENTED acetabular cup is intended for use in Total Hip Replacement procedures in combination with a femoral stem and a femoral articular head. Indicated for primary and/or revision total hip arthroplasties; all those cases of coxarthrosis where the acetabular bony structure does not present optimal characteristics to guarantee a correct and longlasting primary fixation of a cementless press-fit cup (poor bone stock, bone loosening). 


  • MATERIALS:

                CUPS: Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene, without calcium stearate                             - ISO5834/1/2.

                METAL RING: medical grade Stainless steel - AISI 316L ISO 5832/1.


  • STERILIZATION:

                Method: Ethylene Oxyde (EtO) or irradiation (Beta or Gamma - nominal dose 25 kGy) in vacuum.

                Validity: 5 years (Beta) - 10 years (EtO/Gamma).

Hemispherical geometry with polar deflection. The external surface has large circumferential and radial grooves for cement anchorage.

JUMP® System CEMENTED cup is manufactured with High Resistance UHMWPE without calcium stearate, in compliance with ISO5834/1/2 International standards. The absence of Calcium Stearate ensures that the material’s properties are not reduced by the presence of a foreign substance, nevertheless conferring highwear and oxidation resistance. Polar and equatorial stainless steel metal rings are provided for radiographic traceability

The retentive option is indicated for patients with poor muscle tone, where the risk of recurrent luxation is high.

SNAP-IN insertion

The retention mechanism is similar to that used for the Bi-polar cups, with an inner ring that locks the femoral head within the cup after snap-in insertion.
